Bravo, Dan! With your series you have perfectly implemented the possibilities and effects of the low key technique: Mysterious images through sparse lighting with concentration on a few, but important details.
A tip from me: Only the upper part of the pic would have been totally sufficient (and even more macro...). In this group it makes sense not always to show the whole object but to pick out special details p.ex.like your first pic or perhaps like this:

In any case, glass is a fascinating material for low keys. Good choice!
