That's the problem right there. Xata. I don't know if I have really exact limits - it's above all just a feeling. In deed 1:1 is not a real scale for Macro. You can show a 1:1 photo from a person - is that a macro? But a 1:1 photo from a flea is a macro for ever!

Not easy in fact. To have deleted this one I would have deleted some others, including mine from the week before... it is in fact above all a feeling as you so well say, Klaus. Maybe the solution is trust the members of the group´s judgement, if they feel their contribution is a macro, then let it be it...?

For me it's a close up for sure. 1:1 does not mean, that the whole object is on the image, it means 1 cm in reality is 1 cm on the sensor. And even this definition is not undisputed. Some experts say 1:10 is a close up. For this group this image fits in my opinion.
