This Saturday morning's stroll was the 11.56 miles up the hill behind us and around Loch Romach, a former supply of our water, buried in the woods. Four hours to be back in time for cold poached salmon, potato and celery salad, bacon avocado and water cress salad, and freshly baked bread and cheese.
