Moray Coastal Trail from Covesea Village to Arthur's Bridge - 8.2 miles - on Good Friday 2019

A beautiful sunny Good Friday, cloudless skies with a faint early morning haze, skylarks singing their hearts out overhead as we set off for the 8.2 mile stretch from Covesea Village to Arthur's Bridge to the east, on the Moray Coastal Trail. This was a particularly brutal section, ploughing through soft sand at high tide along Lossiemouth's enormous Barrier Island beach, until we finally reached the track through the woods...lunch at The Harbour Restaurant in Lossiemouth, out in the sunshine - one of us had the Langoustines and Mango salad. I had an excellent Spiced Harissa Chicken soup, and walking buddy had Cullen Skink, before coming home with me for a couple of large Chapman's to cool off and wind down.
