A Reflection of Time...

An 18K gold pocket watch, movement by Hahn Landeron 1890, gifted to Coldwaterjohn (senr.) on his initial retirement from the Seaforth Highlanders, Second Battalion in 1906, after 21 years service, although he rejoined for the Great War when his eldest son Gregor, signed up for the Regiment.
His monogram (JAMcN) is on one cover and the Seaforth Highlanders' crest on the other.
