Pond resurrection in progress!

With all the rain recently the water table has risen, the acquifer which feeds the gravity tube well has been recharged, and water is pouring in at the rate of 15,000 litres per day -that's almost 5,500,000 litres per year. I haven't ey discovered why the pond isn't rising faster, although it must be seeping back into the ground, as it is not artificially lined, but just lies in a low area.
