The "pondless" pond garden - see note!

Until this summer the pond was six feet deep in parts. This year's drought has dried it out almost completely. Fortunately I had stopped restocking it a few years ago with trout - they were being taken by ospreys, otter, and mink! The note shows an image when it did have water enough for the brave to swim in it!
