Mushroom Spore print

When you are trying to identify a particular type of mushroom, it is essential that you also take a spore print.. Its colouring helps to positively identify what you are looking at.
Remove the stalk and lay it gills down, on a piece of white paper (or black paper if expecting very pale spore) and leave overnight. In this instance I used the back of an old envelope.
