Ferret in Residence under the dock

Walking by the pond this afternoon, I was about to step onto the dock when this little face appeared from under the edge of the old jarrah wood planking. He looked at me for a while, disappeared for a few seconds and then bobbed out again. My dutiful spouse on being phoned, brought my camera down to hte pond (she's good like that!) anbd Hey Presto, he happily posed for several minutes...
