Old Dubai: Captain Ahab watching the world go by...


The Old Man and the Sea - Dhow Captain who sails between Dubai, Bombay, and Karachi in the sailing season when the winds are favorable. These dhows carry/used to smuggle millions in gold bullion into India from Dubai - one sinking could result in the total loss of upwards of $10M...but when they didn't the profits were enormous!
