SSC Saturday Self-Challenge, 20.01.18: photograph any handmade/homemade
Dies sind einige Handarbeitsvorlagen der Großmutter meines Mannes, Behiye K., eine sehr liebe und weise Frau, die ich auch 1976 (damals 90-jährig) kennen gelernt habe. Sie war fast blind und hat mein Gesicht ganz sanft abgetastet, um zu 'sehen', wie wohl die zukünftige Frau ihres Enkels aus Deutschland aussehen mag, das hat mich sehr gerührt.
Im PiP ist eine ganz typische Aufnahme von Behiye K. bei der Häkelarbeit zu Hause zu sehen.
These are some manuals of my husband's grandmother, Behiye K., a very nice and wise woman, whom I met in 1976 (then 90). She was almost blind and has scanned my face very gently to 'see' what the future wife of her grandson from Germany may look like, that touched me a lot.
The PiP shows a very typical shot of Behiye K. at the crochet work at home.

Mir gefällt sehr die Geschichte dazu.
Anrührend finde ich hier die Geschichte hinter dem Foto. Und das Porträt der alten Dame bei der Arbeit ist vieler Sterne würdig.
