Wij, en vele anderen, hebben afgelopen zaterdag weer genoten bij de Nationale Tulpendag!

In Amsterdam wordt elk jaar (nu voor de 9-de keer) op de derde zaterdag in januari tijdens de Nationale Tulpendag de officiële aftrap gegeven voor het tulpenseizoen. Nederlandse tulpenkwekers nodigden iedereen uit om in een speciaal aangelegde pluktuin, vlak voor het Paleis op de Dam, gratis een bosje tulpen te plukken.
Dit jaar was het thema ‘World of Colours’!

In totaal kunnen zo’n 200.000 tulpen geplukt worden...

Dat was het idd Fred! Wel met veel dreigende luchten plus wat hagel ook, maar zoals je ziet ook felblauwe luchten...
Er hing veel sfeer en gezelligheid, dat was het voornaamste!

Spring is wonderful, but I like snow too. It can come till in March, so we'll see what is faster, snow or the tulips in our country ;)
