A macro full of life's drama. While I don't like to see the demise of a bee, as a bee lover, spiders must also eat and they are important in the garden also. I value the web spiders in my garden and try to avoid disturbing their webs while pottering around. Thanks for this wonderful image in the Bee group.

.. Nature is - we may not like what we see, but we are also part of the grand scheme (at least I think so)

.. I just try to steer clear of the Robber Flies when they are in attack-mode after the butterflies !

- so far, no butterflies spotted as a meal for the RBs ... just the large Carpenter Bee
- but, I talk to my plants, trees, etc - and tell the butterflies to be on guard !

- never saw these things in Florida

Just noticed the third tiny insect at the top which seems to have been caught in the spider silk as well.
