2006 - Neighborhood RR
In 2006, I participated in a "Neighborhood Round Robin", where each of six participants stitched a house representing a past, present of "dream" home in a neighborhood designed by the originator.
In this entry are the motifs I stitched on all six pieces...

Renee's house
Renee's House - from Little House Chart 27 ("Colonial Houses" --- the blue house but colors changed to reflect my present house and the tree on the left taken from the second row on the sampler). The tree on the right is from Little House ("Dear Diary: Mary Heaton 1878" --- the bird was changed from brown to red to "resemble" the Ohio state bird, the cardinal). The lamp post is my own design, based on the blackwork charts from the Nancy Spruance "Victorian Miniatures", and the flowers are my attempt to show my husband's garden...

Meg's House
house from a Jeremiah Junction chart ("Village Sampler", house B with colors adjusted to match my current house and my own black cat placed on the porch). Tree from Little House "Dear Diary: Mary Heaton 1878", and the dock was my own design. Meg supplied the chart for the table and chairs but I added the wine and glasses.

Steph's House
a "dream house" from a Debbie Patrick chart of Victorian Cottages at Martha's Vinyard ("Cottages of Oak Bluff II" --- it's "House III"), with a "deleted" wing of the house on the right; redbud tree from Young Design's "Spring Along the Roadside".
