Summer storm clouds passing by

Summer storm clouds passing by
Not a drop of rain did we get. The storm drifted eastwards out over the North Sea, about 4 miles/6 km away.

Thanks very much for your visit and nice comment Carol, always appreciated. Yes is was good that we missed the rain on this occasion, we had plenty in the preceding days!

Best regards, Doug

Thanks very much Wilhelm. Here near the North Sea coast the temperature has not been as high as many parts of Europe or the UK. We have had some rain but much less than normal. The field of wheat behind my house has just been harvested, but the yield will be lower than normal. At the moment the ground is probably too dry and hard to plough ready for next year crop, which may cause problems in future.

All the best, Doug
