En Sologne, ma région au centre la France nous avons aussi beaucoup de ces oiseaux de magnifiques faisans, les couleurs sont un peu plus soutenues, celui ci est très beau et bien saisi, bravo à vous.

Thank you for your kind comments and visit Jocelyne Villoing, they are much appreciated. The Pheasant is not native to the UK, it my have been introduced to this country by the Romans, perhaps from France, who knows. The colours of this bird are enhanced slightly by HDR, but he was a magnificent bird, about 2-3 years of age.
