Another gigantic one, we saw about 4 on the day, this one is slightly older, the wings are a bit longer.

Always an impressive sight, but the first one we saw on the day, we went to get our backpacks on to move a bit and there ontop of mine was this HUGE cricket!! I've seen them before down at Sandwich Bay but as I say, always an impressive sight.

Parasitised Six-spot Burnet Caterpillar, probably the same as the previous caterpillar, these wasps are just pupating now. Where as the moth should have emerged, let alone pupate.

Female has emerged, a male has found her probably the instant her wings were dry..lol and a parasitised caterpillar wanders around.

By the end of July this field will be a wash with butterflies, if you get the chance to go see it. Its amazing. Was a bit early when we visited but still lovely as always.
