Beetles are one of my favorite creatures, I love the colors and shapes and behaviour. This guy is sooo under rated in the Beetle world, I mean just look at that Teddy-bear Face!

What a super macro, the details are outstanding!! Its antennae are so interesting, a trio it looks like! WOW! And that fuzzy, fuzzy face...LOVE IT!!! :D

Thanks everyone, they are loveable, when we are moth trapping and they are flying about they are a bit annoying, I usually put them onto my fleece, they sit nice and still for a bit. We even have a special Cockchafer Jar for them to hang out in until the moth trap is done....lol
