Many thanks Rebeca ! - You´re right there are arabesques - many great antique buildings show morish parts and influences. Before the normannic period the isle was muselmanic; and about 100 years and more their influence in culture and science remaind. Federico II was a great friend of them. I think wikipedia can tell you more...
