Campsall Hall was GII* listed mainly for its fine plasterwork. Its appearance was mainly the result of a remodelling of c1763 which was possibly by John Carr, but parts of the house dated from the seventeenth century. It was abandoned, burnt, and then demolished c1985-86.

Former seat of the Childers family, A tudor house remodelled c1740 and extended in the early nineteenth century, Burnt c1930s (presumably when this pic was taken) but apparently not finally demolished until sometime later. Apparently it stood somewhere near Doncaster Race Course.
