Spital House, Chesterfield, Derbyshire (Demolished)

This partly c16th house once stood in its own park, but by the time this photo was taken its grounds had been sold for housing and it faced into a side street, It was demolished after World War Two. Their is a rather nice water colour painting of Spital House dating from 1812 reproduced at
