Farr House, Daviot And Dunlichity, Invernesshire, Scotland (Demolished?)

Farr House, Daviot And Dunlichity, Invernesshire, Scotland (Demolished?)
Built c1868 to the designs of Alexander Ross, and extended 1874. Thats all I have been able to find out sadly. If it does still stand it isn't listed or occupied.

Thanks Lisa! I'm reasonably certain that its the MacKenzie House, and the distance from Inverness sounds about right. It certainly looks from your research that it was still around (but perhaps in a modified form) in the 1950s. I have checked the Scottish listed buildings register, and the Buildings of Scotland and it isnt mentioned in either. The local church apparently closed many years ago and has been converted. Best Wishes James
