I agree, my interest in the First World War started when I was at school, we used to do the poppy appeal door to door and even in the late 1970s and early 1980s the scars of the war ran deep, both in those that survived and the widows and children of survivors.

Hi Jeremy I can either send you scans or email them if you want. Their are a couple of pics in the same batch which dont seem to relate to Farnborough Hill. I used to know a Jeremy Musson years ago in my days at the Victorian Society, now working for CL would that be you? Best Wishes James
