'The Chalet', Beeslack House, Glencorse, Lothian now demolished

Copyright Tom Errington.
'The Chalet' at Beeslack House. According to Mr Errington the inside was furnished in miniature with child sized chairs, tables, cups and plates. Beeslack was once the home of the Erringtons but was built for John Cowan c1855 to the designs of JA Bell. This charming little building appears to date from later in the nineteenth century. Apparently the gardens at Beeslack were largely laid out in the 1880s under the supervision of Andrew Dougall the then Head Gardener.
Thanks Tom!
