Detail of model for 'The Home Coming' (Cambridge War Memorial) by Robert Tait McKenzie

Clay model for the bronze figure which forms Cambridge War Memorial (England) by the multi-talented Canadian born sculptor Robert Tait McKenzie (1867-1938); McKenzie was later commissioned to provide a second version of this piece for Woodbury New Jersey. The model for the Cambridge memorial was apparently an 18 year old student of English at Christ College Cambridge, an American college boy modeled for the Woodbury version.
