Der CN-Tower (Canadian National Tower), ein 553 Meter hoher Fernsehturm und Wahrzeichen der Stadt Toronto (ON), damals das höchste Gebäude der Welt.
Auf 340 Meter befindet sich eine Aussichtsplattform, ein Stockwerk darunter ein Deck mit (damals nur teilweise) verglastem Boden, darüber ein Café und ein Drehrestaurant.
Auf 450 Metern befindet sich das Space Deck (heute Sky Pod), von wo aus man bei klarem bis 120 Kilometer weit sehen kann (inkl. die Gischt der Niagarafälle).
Nervenkitzel-Attraktionen wie den EdgeWalk (ein Tour aussen am Turm auf Höhe des 116ten Stockwerks) gab es damals noch nicht ...

Sind letzte Woche wieder 'mal oben gewesen - absolut klares Hammerwetter, man sah quer über den Ontariosee bis nach Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Bis ich die neuen Bilder hier zeigen kann, dauerts aber noch ein paar Wochen ...
