Ca. 5.500 aktive Dragon Boat Sportler bzw. 200 Teams aus den USA, China, Hongkong, Macau, den Philippinen, Deutschland, Australien und weiteren Ländern nahmen daran teil.

Oh, Drachenbootrennen, sehe ich mir zu gerne an auf unserem Maschsee. Um Pfingsten gibt es hier ganz tolle Wettkämpfe, wo viele Firmen sich in diesem Sport versuchen

Bei uns in der Nähe gibt's auch jedes Jahr ein Drachenboot-Wettkampf.
Ist aber kein Vergleich, wenn da auf dem (noch jungen) Rhein ein paar Boote 'rumgerudert werden oder ob wie hier in Vancouver gleichzeitig 25 bis 20 Teams unterwegs sind - mit dem Sound der Trommel und dem gegenseitigen Anfeuern ...
