Die Treppen bin ich auch hoch und war enttäuscht, dass die Fälle von oben nicht gut zu fotografieren sind- für den weiteren Weg hat uns leider die Zeit gefehlt. Wie man bei dir sieht, hätte es sich gelohnt!

Wenn man da weiter oben dem "Bach" entlang schlendert kann man fast nicht glauben, dass sich nach 150 Metern eine solche Wassermasse nach unten stürzt ...

Ja, das ist schade, dass man nicht besser in die Fälle 'rein sieht!
Wie fast bei allen Fällen in Island fand ich's interessant, dass sie oberhalb meist eher flach sind und relativ zahm aussehen. Nicht wie bei uns in Mitteleuropa, wo es meist wildere Bergbäche sind, die dann so in die Tiefe stürzen!
