more chicks

Our second broody hen hatched 5 chicks today, with more on the way. She's not a great mother, and we found a still-damp chick half dead near the nest. Put it back under her and we're hoping for the best. This was earlier on, when one of her chicks was trying to burrow into her bum feathers
