our new glasshouse bench and table

We were given the wrought iron ends of this table and bench by someone who was going to throw them away. Our latest HelpXers, Gavin and Ally, cleaned them and removed all the flaky stuff, gave them a coat of Rust Kill, painted them, calculated what we needed to rebuild them, then cut the wood to size, coated the wood with a preserving oil, and put them together (okay, Ad did the finishing of the bench!) The table is on a couple of breeze blocks to make it a better working height. The bench is going to be a nice cosy and bright place to sit and contemplate the world in the winter.
