This lady came into Cafe City not long after we did, together with her husband and daughter. The husband had a sort of 50s rockabilly hairdo, wore jeans (unusual enough in Myanmar) with some chains attached, and the woman was wearing a scandalously short dress and loads of makeup. But it was the daughter - who was wearing lots of makeup, jewellery, hair that had clearly been styled within an inch of its life - that was the most mesmerising. There were others in there with their kids, also in amazing outfits, but we didn't dare to take photos.
