Hopetoun Tearooms

No longer the quiet retreat from the city bustle for country ladies in town for the day, with genteel ladies serving club sandwiches and pots of tea. Clearly it's now one of THE places to tick off on your Melbourne tour. It was full of flush tourists, and the staff are all chic and immaculately groomed. They had roast quail on the menu!
