ducks' revenge

The blocked water pump: after killing and plucking 7 ducks, I put the feathers and down into a pillow case, tied a length of baling twine securely around the top and put it into the washing machine for a good washing. The twine came undone and... feathers everywhere. In the filter, in the water pump, surrounding the drum... disaster. But trusty Richard, our Wonder WWOOFer, dismantled the machine and saved the day! (Not to mention a load of money for repairs.)
