young swallows

A few years ago we kicked the nesting swallows out of the garage because we ended up with poo on everything. Although we have loads of other sheds for them to build nests in, they chose to build it on this light fitting, which never worked properly anyway, so we didn't mind. This spring's 4 baby swallows have already started going out on test flights, but are often to be found squished together in the nest waiting for mum and dad to come back with some takeaway.
