054-365, Include Me Out - FRIEDRICH KUNATH
Im Buntsockenpark in Thalheim
Die Bronzeskulpturengruppe Include me out von Friedrich Kunath im Buntsockenpark Thalheim umfaßt sieben stilisierte Fichten. Die Installation, platziert im ehemaligen Strumpf-Fabrikgebiet, reflektiert auf humorvolle Weise unsere Positionen in der Welt und aktuelle Umweltprobleme. Friedrich Kunath wurde 1974 in Karl-Marx-Stadt geboren, dem jetzigen Chemnitz und lebt heute im US-amerikanischen Pasadena.
Das PIP in der Mitte zeigt einen Durchblick an der angezeigten Stelle und das zweite PIP an der Unterseite zeigt die siebente etwas Abseits liegende Fichte. Sie befindet sich in etwa an der markierten Stelle, etwas Außerhalb des Hauptbildes.
Das Gebäude im Hintergrund ist die Villa Neukirchner. Die Villa des Strumpffabrikanten Bruno Neukirchner ist ein Kulturdenkmal auf der Grundlage des Sächs. Denkmalschutzgesetztes. www.neukirchner-villa.de/bauwerk.html
