Abandoned malt factory, founded in 1889. A brew tower and silo tower were built, as well as a main building with a fermentation tank and administration. The second brew tower probably followed in the 1920s in the style of the new objectivity. In 1953 the company becomes state property of the GDR. In April 1968 the the malt works became part of a brewery. After 1989 the production of malt as a basic ingredient for local beer was discontinued. Work continued until 1992. As late as 1989, a "company chronicle for the 100th anniversary“ was published.
