Argentina - 2000

I've freshly scanned around 1000 slides from the Argentina trip in January/February 2000. All scans have been postprocessed with photoshop and addon's and geotagged as accurate as possible (a lot of work). The trip started with a flight to Buenos Aires, where we stayed for a short time. The next flight was to Salta, where we started the 7600 km long journey with a rented Renault Kangoo, not really the appropriate car. We drove up to an elevation of 4200 m and then many rough roads all the way down to Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego. For many kilometers we followed the famous Ruta 40, which was still an adventure back then. While today many parts are paved, in 2000 it was mainly deep gravel.
