Great perspective. I climbed up to the base of the "hat" in 1974, as part of a college trip down the San Juan. No pix, alas! The rock is a _lot_ bigger than it looks!

I probably couldn't now! ;) That's why I regret the lack of pix! But the Class III route we took appears to be to the right of the lower figure in your link, heading down to the right.
