The first one is a nutmeg.
The second one? I have no idea!

[Just a thought] Could it be cocoa?

The first one was easy for me because I stumbled on some nutmeg shots some years ago when I was looking for an explanation of weird-looking growths at my magnolia tree.
Cocoa was more difficult... ;)

Oh, Berny, I had no idea nutmegs wore such a fantastic spiderman-like mask! Beautifully captured, with a hint of mystery! The cocoa fruit was also a discovery for me and very intriguing!
