HMS Alliance

HMS Alliance
HMS Alliance is a Royal Navy A-class, Amphion-class or Acheron-class submarine, laid down towards the end of the Second World War and completed in 1947. The submarine is the only surviving example of the class, having been a memorial and museum ship since 1981. Restoration was completed by 2014 and the submarine was opened to visitors at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum in Portsmouth.

Good view of the sub Berny, haven't visited since recent renovations, but it certainly is looking considerably better than it was a while back. I is an interesting visit to the museum, especially having had a few family members on subs during the war.
