Estrecho de Magallanes - Magellan Street......the ships name is "Ambassador", built in 1869, a very fast british tea clipper......now its not so fast anymore, I think ;-)

When did you take the picture and where exactly is the wreck?
Not so far in Falklands there is still an signiticative collection of old sailboats ( XIX century) .
The history of the sailships that tried to make this route (south of SA and Cape Horn) is an impressive chapter of world navigation.

Hi, I took the photo during our Argentina trip in February of 2000 and it was near Estancia San Gregorio, at the northern side of the Magellan street.......yes, the history is really impressive!
