Ich hatte schon den Verdacht, es sei eine ausgeblühte Distel. Aber dafür sind mir die Körbchen zu klein. Leider hab ich vergessen, die Blätter zu fotografieren.

Do you remember if they were relatively small, only as a base rosette, but very finely divided.
My K-M suggests they like a limestone rich soil.

Ein kundiger Hobby-Botaniker hat mir gestern gesagt, es handle sich höchstwahrscheinlich um den Fruchtstand einer Sumpfkratzdistel. Man erkenne noch die restlichen violetten Blütenkelche. Die silbrigen Sterne seien die Samen, die gerade auswehen.
