It reminds me of my father,and his Snipe.
His passion and my terror of the grey water entering in and the cold North wind.
All diminishes in the fog thanks to your colours, I was seven at the time...

Un movimento di vele, una danza di colori …. questo vedo io innanzitutto in questo magnifico quadro (oops, mi è scappato quadro al posto di foto, ma questa è la sensazione ….)
Si nota subito il monocromatismo di cielo e mare, la via forse più efficace per descrivere la furia dei venti e delle onde. Le vele al centro si piegano, si rialzano, garriscono al vento come bandiere ma sembrano non volere cedere, ricavo da questo aspetto un significato positivo della immagine, i colori rappresentano la vita e la vita non si arrende alle calamità, nonostante tutto.
Ma insisto sulla importanza dell'effetto pittorico: i colori si muovono, si intrecciano in un caleidoscopio che ammalia la vista, non danno un punto di riferimento preciso ma colpiscono per la estrema vivacità delle tinte.
Ben fatto, cara Bea, la creatività è un pennello che ti appartiene !
Concludo con una citazione, questa volta copiata da wikipedia, nella lingua che Tu ami tanto:

Ovviamente non è il mio caso:-) per cui mi sono limitata a cercare e ed inviare un messaggio positivo, nell'elaborare questo momento di improvviso temporale, accentuando per esempio, come hai così acutamente osservato nella tua meravigliosa interpretazione, i colori delle vele agitate, sì, ma resistenti della loro danza( così mi è apparsa) al vento burrascoso..
