I am not sure about the red thing in the foreground.
It kinda distracts me from the tree stump and the blue band - these are tops!

the red thing is a young autumnal beech....
there is an old (?) saying amongst German photographers, I try to translate it to English:
Foreground makes the picture healthy,
midground makes statement
background not many-coloured
;-)
so in these terms I would call this picture successful - well, except for the statement perhaps ;-)))
maybe I tried to say: End of November it's cold out there in the woods ;-)
but hey - if there wasn't this red thingy it would be yet another wrong coloured forest pic.

nein, blauer Ring bedeutet, da soll ein Trupp junge Tannen gepflanzt werden, also 5 auf 5 Tannen = 25 Stück.
Die Trupps werden durchnummeriert, damit man weiß, wieviel Pflanzen man benötigt und die Waldarbeiter dann nix übersehen.

Oje, ein Blauwähler, aber wenigstens nur einer.
