I wonder in the coming winter months ... how they will survive but if
they are belonging to someone ... perhaps they will "herd them in"
closer to home and give them feed ... I do not not know I have
never seen them like this other than on Exmoor ... the New Forest
in the UK !!
this horses belongs to a alpine hut or alpine pasture, where cattles and dairy cows are living during the summertime (middle of June until middle of September).
From the milk they make a wonderful cheese, (No industrial food, just pasture and herbs.
In middle of September the animals they bring down in the valley to their farmers.
