Since half a century now, José Franco, an old potter and ceramic artist from Sobreiro (Mafra / Ericeira region) has been building this fantastic recreation ground where models of houses from the referred region and all main characteristic artisans of old villages and respective shops and tools were recreated, sometimes in full scale (as in this picture), othertimes in miniature.
