JAR WITH THREE CALLA LILIES

There is a painting by my Grandfather Raul in which a jar with three calla lilies is painted. I thought about writing a book called "Jar with Three Calla Lilies" and putting a reproduction of my grandfather's painting on the cover. But it would be a provocation. I don't do those things. It would be as if "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" by Magritte was "Ceci est une pipe".

Há um quadro do meu Avô Raul onde está pintada uma jarra com três jarros. Pensei escrever um livro chamado "Jarra com três jarros" e pôr na capa uma reprodução do quadro do meu avô. Mas assim era uma provocação. Não faço essas coisas. Era como se o "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" de Magritte fosse um "Ceci est une pipe".
