MUSEU DO RELÓGIO / WATCH MUSEUM

This museum is the only one of its kind in the whole Iberian Peninsula, and one of the best five in the world. It occupies ten rooms of a 16th-century convent in the heart of SERPA's historic center. It contains more than 2400 watches and clocks, from 1630 till the present time.

The more valuable piece is the one shown in the picture, with all its original components, which work once a year for maintenance.

This outstanding private museum is self-reliant, supported by the fees of visitors, a very well quoted Restoration Workshop, and the selling of several exclusive design models.
