BIRTH

give birth to a son
is to continue the mystery that commands life
if by chance there is a dream
the reality is love between mother
and the new life that soon
begins smiling to her

however

most people think dreams have an end
I'm talking of those that happen here in the sheet of paper
or factually
in the next generation
and the other
and the other
until the explanation of eternity

only dies the dream of someone who has never given birth
or was a father

parir um filho
é dar continuidade ao mistério que comanda a vida
se por sorte houver sonho
a realidade é o amor entre a mãe
e a nova vida que cedo começa
a sorrir-lhe

contudo

há quem pense que os sonhos acabam
eu falo dos que acontecem aqui no papel
e de facto
na geração seguinte
e na outra
e na outra
atá à explicação da eternidade

só morre o sonho de quem nunca pariu um filho
ou foi pai
