Now I'm leaving down the road
As the day lies on this job of forgetting you
Now I'm leaving without delay
I copied the lights from every room where I beheld you
(I remember the clocks at length)
Now I'm leaving down the road
I collect the clothes the photos and the maps
Nightfall covers me
I return to the initial skein
I gather me

Agora vou-me embora pela estrada fora
Enquanto o dia se deita neste ofício de te esquecer
Agora vou-me embora sem demora
Copiei as luzes de todos os quartos em que te contemplei
(lembro-me demoradamente dos relógios)
Agora vou-me embora pela estrada fora
Recolho a roupa as fotos e as rotas
Entardeço-me
Regresso à meada da iniciação
Reúno-me
